Tom Hand mentioned a lot of things but most notable to me is if you have a loud mirrored PowerMac, for a small fee, apple will send you a quiet kit.
Dan Garza gave a nice presentation of EdgeWorks2000, EdgeWorks is an independent film makers club which helps promote film making in Corpus Christi. They use a PowerMac with IMove, and Final cut Pro to make movies
